Good Intentions
In the realm of a madman's verse
Where thoughts emerge, a universe
A delicate dance of sanity's thread
And the balance of mind where we're led
Amidst the chaos, truth's disguise
Is it madness that blinds our eyes?
Or just a different lens, a skewed view
Where reality shimmers, a distorted hue?
Casting shadows, ideologies entwined
Emotions as facts, in a world unaligned
The masses sipping sweet deceit
Blindly embracing their own defeat
Human destiny, self-wrought decay
Flaws in the mind, lead us astray
Yet we claim divinity, wear it as a crown
While deep-seated sin leaves us to drown
Weakness and corruption, a haunting pair
Consequences avoided with little care
A cup of complacency, sipped with delight
Till the waters boil, and reveal the light
The frog in the pot, wisdom found late
Adaptation denied by a passive state
Fragile psyches shattered by fear's embrace
Good intentions lost in this chaotic space
Our existence squandered, condemned by desire
Trivial pursuits stoking a wasteful fire
Complexities woven into life's fragile art
Obscuring the beauty, clouding every part
Back to the cave, we retreat once more
Rationalizing the shadows that pour
Apathy's grip evident in our gaze
Hopelessness echoing in life's maze
Discomfort blooms in thoughts that persist
Seeking to fathom what we've dismissed
The truest issues, we often evade
Lost in trivialities, a modern charade
In the poetry of madness, stories are spun
A journey through chaos, battles hard-won
Between fractured minds and realities untold
Lies the spectrum of being, where we unfold
