Good Day
I had a cookie for lunch today,
We all laughed at its abnormal size.
I broke it in half,
And Brian and Chris had a quarter each.
I finished all my work today,
My chores all thoroughly completed.
Afterwards I walked my dog,
His beastly size overwhelming all the small children.
I wrote in my diary today,
Sharing the day's pleasant features;
How nice it is to be your friend,
And how happy I am to know you.
