Good Bye My Friend

Good-bye my friend, I miss you so. It's so hard to let you go. I know you are at peace, and finally free of pain and despair, but it may take a little while for me to come to terms with you not being here. I am so grateful for the time that we did have, as short as that time may have been. We had some good times, so many laughs, and we were there for each other through thick and thin. I know you are still close, and you will always be watching over me, but things won't ever be quite the same. You belong to heaven now, and the stars in the sky spell out your name. Know that you made a difference in my life, and you touched my world in such a powerful way. Know that you are loved and missed so much, every single day. Thank you my dear friend, for all that you have given and shared with me. Thank you for the window of light that you so many times helped me to see. Thank you for always seeing only the good in everything, no matter how bad things seemed to be. Thank you for always believing in my dreams and never once, giving up on me. You have shown me what a true friend is and what friendship is truly supposed to be. In loving memory of my dear friend D.C. Murphy (Tiny) who passed away September 23rd of 2006
