Good Bye Friend

My dear friend
whom I loved soo much
you now lay
in a mahogany bed
your face is pale
and your hands; pallid
the sun shines on you now
for the last time soon you will be one with the earth
never again to be seen
by people that live
but your spirit will live
with me
and through me
forever more
