Gone Never Forgotten

Etched in my heart,mind and soul `til i see you again
from time to time it`s hard to refrain
a little tear when i think of you
and all the things we used to do.

Your kindness and personality does live on
even so,Shirl you have gone
you have a daughter that has everything you had
your looks and manorisms, makes me so glad.

It`s a pleasent reminder that when you were here
such a comfort,that makes me feel near
to you whenever i do feel down
it lifts up my mood my spirits and frown

Thanks for your gracious and kind comments on reflections, appreciated much my English Gent friend............true bout the age part, I feel 100...disabled broken back, broken wrist, elbow, 5 ribs of which one punctured my lung. Hard heavy work, for little pay, osteroporosis doing in my old bones, kept trying graduated college at 38, hope would make a difference, just too late...thanks again mate makes me feel good mate
