Gone From Us

Gone from us, no more to see
Left only with sweet memories
All to soon on wings of white
The angels took her home last night

They carried her throughout the night
They guided her through darkened flight
But sometime soon I think we'll meet
Perhaps to sit at Jesus' feet

Gone from us no more to roam
The angels' gently flew her home
They left her sit upon a cloud
Where she was heard to speak out loud

There stands my husband and my children too
They seem astonished and somewhat blue
They know that Jesus called me home
To dry my tears when I'm alone

They stand so quiet just looking at me
Not knowing I'm happy and at last I am free
I have no pain to interrupt sleep
I'm happy I'll go and to Jesus I'll meet

I'm healing now as He said I would
A positive statement He said if I could
He told me to leave you a sign from above
I left you my loved ones My Eternal Love!
