thanks for the message. . What i meant to say is "biggest SELLERS" by number of albums sold. Beatles is one for that, with Stones second and CC is third. In the US anyway!!!! Are you in England?

Andrea..I was there in the late 60s and 70s..Beatles only #1 with 14 year old girls.I did vocals and played a little sax with a pretty well known band back then. Stones were supreme.Hendrix best guitar. Ginger Baker #1 on drums. I could rattle off dozens of groups that put on better performance than the Beatles. Problem ,nobody could keep it together long enough ...Beatles stayed the course and put out a ton of music..A lot of it 2nd rate,Ask anybody who lived it..No way the Beatles.

a sad one from you, Richard. You still have never told me why you make all your poems in this style. I think it is a great way to distinguish yourself, but it just does not work with the acrostic form!! Anyway, you must mean Rolling stones was number one with YOU. In the 60s they were number two after Beatles, but the American Band Creedance Clearwater was number three, if I remember correctly from the rock history class I used to teach.

Not trying to be distinctive..Promise No more Acrostics. It seems all my life I have done things apart from the norm. Just the way it is...
