"gone By"
Though I can't cry for those by my side...
I've shed a million tears for those gone by..
Once a lonely man set to sea...
I scraped and crawled to a land to be..
Hills and valleys I've traveled through..
Brought me to place where I can write and be true...
Though my words like stars in the sky..
some will twinkle and some shall die...
When all is said and done, and we cross those gates
to all who's gone..I will hold my head up high knowing
that I loved and lived on...
