Gone As the Unseen
He broke "her" loudest cry for the awaited moment,
With his tiny fingers made the mother - son agreement.
"Where is "he"?", he asked as months went by,
"She" knew , to put him to peace "she" had to lie.
Every night he slept hearing the bed time stories ,
For they were all about "his" green uniform and memories.
"Be brave, my man", "his" voice whispered,
Through the wired communication line he cheered.
"Brave men fight for their country", at school he learned,
An oblivious pride and glory over his head he earned.
Wearing "his" tree green uniform , he sat by the shore ,
Under the lonely moonlight he wished for the unseen and more.
Startled, the illicit society questioned him with satiric pride,
"A country man like "him",I shall be", he said like the strongest tide.
"Father", as he screamed was a cry too far,
For "he" had already let himself go in the cruel war...
