Gone

One woman can make you cry,
Make you dry ur eye at the same time.
She'll break your heart in half,
Make you wonder why you choose that path.

We ask ourselves why we did it? Why did we get together?
We promised we'd be there for each other, even through the stormy weather.
Now I look back and think what a waste of my life.
Thinkin that one day you could be my wife.

I lost sight of what I needed to hold dear,
Now nothing will take away the pain, not even the beer.
I hate myself for what i've since become,
A 25 year old drunk, with a bottle of rum....
