Gone

One wrong turn has left you crying
Ones you’ve loved have left you dying
The hand that pulled you close
Is now pulling you away

Happiness has turned to sadness
All your dreams have turned to madness
Where to turn when the street signs
Have changed their names

Stopping in a pile of quicksand
Maybe I should help you understand
But who am I to say?
I’m still going the wrong way

Get your bag it’s time to go
To all those people you will show
Who you are is better
Than whom you are gone
