Gone

The edge has gone
I feel no fear
What once gripped me
I now hold dear

About to destroy it all
I need to breathe
Dark feels safer than light
When hiding underneath

I had the chance to take it
But chose the sorrow
No chance to turn back
Fading towards tomorrow

I had it standing in front of me
But as usual, I just couldn't see
