Goldilocks Zone
We search the universe as humans go
Looking for life to see if we're alone
Is there a planet with some water flow
And one that is in the Goldilocks Zone
Not too hot and not too cold but just right
Do the oceans boil and steam from the sea
Or all things are frozen in full daylight
Distance away from its star holds the key
If man is to survive a move from Earth
It must be to a Goldilocks Zone
We seem to search from the time of our birth
For an escape to a survival cone
The stars we see are countless it would seem
Each has the zone but none with a planet
Let's take care of what we have as a team
With our own water and air and granite
