Golden Season
Golden season, leaves falling to fade
They give shine to the bounding glade
On the streets, like carpets they lie
Where charmed hearts and sweet lovers walk by
On nearby fields, the happy children play
With their kites like a holiday
While the light of the clear blue sky
Paves the way for the dimness to dry
On the fields, not so faraway
Golden grains of diligence sway
They heave high, and they bend and they flick
For, it's time for such bounty to pick
