Golden Rule

“Do unto others”, the Savior once said, a golden rule given to sum it all up. But we seem to want something complex instead, like it is too simple or it’s not enough. But nothing more’s needed and that’s just a fact, that if we all lived by a new day would dawn where we’d live in harmony with peace intact, for so many ills would forever be gone. But we are too blind and so we never see. Somehow, we think we have a reason to judge, forgetting the fact we’re all family with most of them watching us from high above. We’re told someday things will all come to an end, that Jesus will come to give out recompense. So why don’t we follow that golden rule friends, and “do unto others”? It’s just common sense.
