Golden Eyes

Child, raise your golden eyes
That I would see their light
Daughter, come and sing to me
Little one so bright
Curls of hair that hold my heart
Let me feel once more
Hold me, oh my dearest girl
As once upon the shore
And with you in my gaze
I feel my spirit rise
Let us dance upon the earth
Beneath the golden skies
