Golden Eagle
October 6, 2015
Golden Eagle
There she flies – soaring high amongst the skies
Through the marshmallow clouds
They surround— around her like a shroud
Upon her emergence you will see—
Her eyes peering, below—a tree
There in the nest, a nestling, fledgling—
In need of care, and a blessing
Calling out, aloud— chirps, a-singing sound
Swooping down, still bearing its’ crown
The Golden Eagle
