Golden

I've seen so may things in these 30 something years
Lots of pain, lots of love, and lots of tears

But the first time that you stood before my face
Everything stopped, my heart started to race

I knew it was wrong but it felt so right
Tried to keep you out my dreams and out of my sight

Do you even notice, Do you even see?
Are those beautiful brown eyes looking back at me?

What would people think if I threw it all away
Would I even care, if only for a day

That we would spend together so carelessly
Hand in hand anywhere so happy I would be

If only for an hour in this fantasy
The happiest and luckiest guy I would ever be
