Gold Spills From the Horizon

Gold spills from the horizon
O'er the land that is bathed with wonders
O'er the land coated in silvers
Dead be yesterday's regrets! Welcomed be todays's joys!

Mares frolick and leap in ecstacy around the hues
Of the lush green fields.
Rushing rivers roar and rage, as if excited; as if
Never was their more radiant hope.
Idle lay the clouds yet they chase away the
Nightmares of yesterday. All this, and more, happens when
Gold is flowing plenty from the horizon.
