Gold

It's so cold here in the dark, Your love I never had has left a painful mark. In the middle of the day there is not light, I'm losing hope of ever winning this fight. Until you enter my sight it's pitch black, Thoughts of you fill my mind until you come back. A moment without you is not a moment at all, I'm trying to hold on but I'm almost ready to fall. Only your fire can warm my soul, Every day without you has taken its toll. My bones tremble in this cold, I wish you'd see that to me, your love is gold.
