Going To Work

Struggling to get out of bed,
The thought  of work fills me with dread.
If only I didn't have to go,
But if I don't no more cash flow.

I walk in the door and head to the clock,
Slide my card and start the tick-tock.
Another workday has begun,
I'm hoping it's a good one.

I wrote this shortly before retiring.
