Going Faster

"Going faster"

"The finish line is in sight but even
                      still.
my heart begs for a break but not
                   my will.
I'm going faster to become the only
                   winner.
  Everyone is professional but i'm
              just a beginner.
They laughed and told me to go
                    home.
So i must beat them with dignity.
running thru the ribbon all alone.
Picking up speed i passed them and
            caused them to turn.
Angry looks i got and as i smiled.
leaving them in my dust to burn"
