Going Backwards

I walked through the door
Feeling somewhat lost
All my possessions were there
And yet I felt off
Down to my room
I stummbled blind
Not really seeing
what was infront of my eyes
I crawled into bed
The stereo loud
Blaring in my ears
Not a word to make out
No lights to shine
Anywhere in my world
Cascading voices made me feel scared
"Do it": they whispered into my head
"Do it" they said as I hid in my bed
I closed my eyes tight, trying no to hear
But there is no ignoring your biggest fear
I slid out of bed, and flicked on the light
I grabbed a blade in the middle of the night
I didn't know why, I didn't know how
But through the cuts, I refused to scream out
Not a sob escaped, my dry, barren eyes
And at my bloodied arms I looked down in suprise
Three on one arm, four on the next
Has it really come back to this??
