Going Away

GOING AWAY





A NEW LIFE, A FRESH LOOK
NO INVOLVEMENT, NO WORRIES,
JUST SORROW AND LONELINESS.
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE…
A NEW START, NOW, SO FAR FROM
WHERE WE WOULD LIKE TO BE.
A CHILDHOOD LOVE LOST, BECAUSE
 COUNTRY CAME FIRST.
HANGING OUT ON THE BLOCK, A WAY OUT
A FREE EDUCATION, BUT ONLY TO FIND
OUT, THAT WHAT  ONE  SACRIFICED,
IS NO LONGER THERE.
SO MUCH FOR THE SACRIFICE AND
THAT  FRESH LOOK, NO LONGER THERE.
NOW, BACK ON THE BLOCK, AND
STILL LONELY.
