Goes Away
It all will go away.
The pain and the memories,
The faces and the places,
And the shadows of the day.
They leave like no tomorrow,
They don't even say good-bye.
They just leave me here,
And I'm left with sorrow.
I'm left all alone,
Without anymore words.
Everything goes away,
This I've always known.
I'm done trying,
I won't make them stay.
It no longer hurts,
I'm done crying.
No tears from my eyes of blue,
I've grown quite use to this,
Because it all just leaves,
Even you.
