Godtree

In the naked silence I heard
A voice calling saying things absurd
I know not to where I will
But you ought to know not;
Head down the hill

No pain, No gain, No flame, No shame
None whatsoever will know forever

You've tried my patience one
Too many times now you run
On down where you will see
No one can climb the GodTree

No way, No how, No pray, Not now
No one can stay together in the raw weather

War is our illusion to keep
Those who fear in eternal sleep
In the mountain where the shadows creep
Plays the silence of the baby's weep
