God's Ways

God’s ways are not our ways,
As we are led by the Master’s hand.
He leads and we follow,
Sometimes through strange and distant lands.

He would choose a way that is easy,
And hardships would forever be unknown,
But He knows what is best for us-
To teach us His ways to lead us to His throne.

Sometimes we are led through valleys,
And sometimes through the darkest night.
But He is ever near us,
Leading us with His fiery Light.

When problems and cares overtake us,
We can trust Him- He has a plan.
He is chiseling us, and removing our flaws,
With His strong and powerful hand.

We trust Him through each trial
Knowing that if we love the Lord,
“All things work together for the good.”
Though sometimes the way gets very hard.

Thank you Lenny. To me, faith in God gives peace and joy. I could not go through life without Him. I was a Pastor's wife for 50+ years, which was a great blessing in my life.
