God's Unconditional Love
You sought me while I was still sinning,
and cared not about pleasing you.
My only focus was on winning,
so bosom friends were very few.
You wanted to give me real pleasure,
but I settled for earthly treasure.
I was a fool in thought and deed,
oblivious to my great need.
Yet like a bloodhound sent from heaven,
you never stopped pursuing me.
When my steps lead away from Thee,
You loved me with a perfect seven.
My Lord and Savior from the fall,
I surrender to you my all.
