God's Truth Lives On
GOD’S TRUTH LIVES ON
Destroy all the Bibles, burn all churches down,
Forbid gospel music to play all around,
Explain through some theories how we all got here,
Be sure that the timespan is billions of years.
Deny there’s a heaven and say there is no hell,
And if there is a God, no one can surely tell,
Just say those believers are mentally ill,
And put them in jail or have them all killed.
Still God’s truth lives ever and will come to pass
Though man may deny it, it ever shall last.
For what God has stated doesn’t depend on man;
What He says is final, and He’ll follow His plan.
And all who deny it some day still will bow,
So it’s better to trust Him in this day and now.
For there is no chance on eternity’s shore
To say one is sorry and beg to the Lord
For entrance to heaven or just one more chance;
Today is the only day God ever grants.
God’s truth will live ever, and He’s not surprised
By the smartest professor who God all denies.
Each one in eternity believes God is true,
But now it’s too late for belief them to do.
Yes, it’s better to trust God and find out some day
That you were quite wrong to believe in this way
Than to think it’s all fiction and wake up some day
To find out it’s true and too late then to say.
