God's Splendor

In awe and mighty splendor
God formed a place for man to live
Giving Eve to be with Adam
Adam gave to Eve his rib
That they together bear God's children
Live together happily
Together they could walk the land
Walk the sand along the sea
When the storms came
They huddled closely
When the snow
They wrapped so tight
When the sun came out so brightly
They ran and played until the night
As bedtime neared
They knelt and prayed
And thanked God for His lasting love
The Lord was pleased at all He'd made
Watching things closely from above
