God's Mother Day

Remember the mothers
life's left behind
the old, the lonely
the one's out of time

God cries for the homeless
left on the street
tears of compassion
as he sees their need

He cries for the ragged
the tattered,and torn
the weary,the weak
the sad and the scorned

He weeps as the frail ones
that can hardly stand
as they raise their eyes to heaven
to say amen

A tear for the cold ones
with nothing to eat
the ones that are out
with no shoes on their feet

The sick and the broken
when nobody cares
when no one remembers
then God's always there....
