God's Match

God saw you and God saw me,
He saw how we matched perfectly.
He put me with you and you with me,
and whispered, "be with thee."
He knew you and I, us, was meant to be from the very, very start,
and whispered again "thall shall not part."
He saw we've been hurt before,
and last whispered "thall shall hurt no more."
He mended our hearts with a special patch,
you and I . . . God's match.
