God’s Love

God needed me to know just what I had inside,
So HE required me to face a new season of life.
With a purifying fire he took away my pride,
Leaving me with aspirations for my afterlife.
God loves each one and has a genuine care,
He knew my thoughts and each daily endeavor.
He took all my burdens to willingly bear,
His love is unfailing from yesterday to forever.
