God's Heart

Do not forsake me
O my lord
May you tender your heart
With kindness to me

May my life be lived
Each day as it should
Take away all temptation
That my mind would find
Rest

May my desire be
To be always pleasing
To you

It’s not always easy
To keep my thoughts pure
But each day may I feel
A little less myself
And more of you

Let me O Lord
Touch the untouchables
Smile to those who have forgotten its warmth
Look gently into eyes that look downward
And stand beside those that need strength
In all these may I do it with your anointing
Not my will
That you will be given the glory
amen

what can i say, you are truly inspired, it is not at all easy to keep our thoughts pure, we are humans, and we mess up at times, but we can continue to lean on him for refuge in uthese troubled times. Thanks for all your wonderful poems abe

Oh what a wonderful Psalm & Prayer!:) "Hello Again Priceless & Precious Laurie Ginn!"~You become more of a reflection, the clearer that I behold "Your Beauty," of that of "God!"~Your heart is so pure and so sincere~so filled with caring and love~honesty and hope~just like "Your Saviors, Jesus Christ!"~There is 'Nothing' more beautiful to behold, than a "Child of Gods!"~"My Love Again To Always, John!"~Bye Laurie:)
