God's Front Door

Will you get into Heaven?
Can you be so sure?
What will God say to you,
When you get to his front door.

Will He greet you with a smile?
And arms open wide?
Or will He lock the door,
And say "you must stay outside"

Will you get into Heaven?
Can you be so sure,
What if you're the one,
Locked out of God's front door.

How can it be me? you say
For all the good I've done,
I haven't told many lies,
Only probably one.

I've also read the Bible,
Studied it as well,
So open up the door Lord,
Don't leave me in this hell.

Will you get into Heaven?
Can you be so sure?
What if you're the one,
Locked out of God's front door.

I know you are a God of love,
Loving through and through,
Open up this door Lord,
So I can be with You.

For me to open up this
Door and invite you in,
You must be born again,
Washed of all your sin.

That is why I sent my Son,
He is that door you see,
So take Him as your Saviour.
A gift to you from me.

Then you will know for sure,
About your destiny,
For I the door will open,
For you to be with me.
