God's Delays

God's delays are not God's denials
That more precious than gold be your faith's trials
Wait for your hope no matter how hard it seems
Though for now they may linger, remember your dreams
Write them down, make them plain, don't let them die
Keep them before your face, they shall speak and not lie
For God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love
So work in faith with patience with power from above
Following those who obtain His promises in due season
God is a rewarder of the diligent for this reason
He which began a good work in you performs to finish
The good pleasure of His goodness, it will not diminish
So let patience have her perfect work that you may realize
In your heart on your lips with your ears before your eyes
He makes dreams come true, just have faith like a child's
For your vision... God's delays are not God's denials
