God's City
God has prepared us a city
that awaits us in Glory Land.
In that beautiful place known as Heaven
where we'll walk on the golden strand.
This world as we know it will not be our home,
from this world we'll be totally free.
We are only here for the moment'
andn eternity calls daily to me.
This world is only a shadow
of the glorious thing yet to come.
We cannot hope in the things of the world,
God's plan is a far better one.
God only asks we walk humbly with Him,
showing justice, mercy and love.
and we'll be assured of a heavenly home
with our God and Savior above.
