God's Beautiful World

God could have made the world of drab colors-
Of grey, and black and brown,
But He didn’t, He created His masterpiece,
And spread beautiful colors all around.

He used reds, yellows, purples, greens, and blues,
And many more colors of every hue.
He colored the sky, the grass, the trees, and the ground,
And let beautiful flowers everywhere abound.

No, God did not make a drab world.
He decorated it with color and light-
What a feast it is for our eyes!
In the Springtime it is a glorious sight!
