Gods Backyard

Gods Backyard David J Walker Just outside my window A small piece of the natural world Fenced in and cultivated to my taste Such a waste Such a waste When I am not sitting in the middle Of my creation As a god on his thrown Resting on the 7th day Evaluating what does And does not Belong Which makes me think… We are but a small piece Of the heavens In Gods backyard
