God Welcomed Us

God Welcomed Us Today not sure where I should begin What about all of the women and men? From their country becoming a refugee Trying to find wonderful place to be. No one had a problem like that before Right down street there is some store Every other corner church can be found And traffic can always hear its sound. Amazing how fortunate we have it all Had risen in power and never did fall Each of us ended up entering our grave In heaven God gave us a friendly wave. Remarkable observation of the plight of refugees and us being refugees too here on earth until we find our home- heaven.

Would we refuse to be a refugee Share things between you and me Never will sat what's the use In my mind remove the refuse. Must become aware of the fact Life has things that do detract But God who is always willing Aids us and dreams are fulfilling. Cynthia can be like forsythia Flowering and sweet like ambrosia And also even much better yet Smile which I will never forget. Jim Horn
