God was always there
although I was unaware,
embracing me tight.
God was always there
all my sins and griefs to bare,
He made all things right.
God was always there
when I felt burdened with care,
He knew of my plight.
God was always there
with a love beyond compare,
Love found in the Light.
God was always there
ever with His Love to share.
In Him, I gain sight.
