God the G Word
A contest to enter with a G word,
God was the first word, not the second or third.
On this subject I could go on and on,
I’ll talk your ear off until dawn.
He is the first I talk to in the morning,
Praising God first thing is so rewarding.
I am a chatty Cathy all day long
Talking with God, you can’t go wrong.
He already knows what I will say,
He wants to hear it anyway.
Before I turn in for the night,
I know with God, all things will be alright.
