God Speaks

God speaks in the roll of the thunder,
He speaks in the rain and the breeze.
He speaks in the rippling waters
and the rustle of leaves on the trees.
He speaks in the roar of a waterfall
and a wee small voice in your ear.
He speaks in a soft gentle whisper
to those that are tuned in to hear.
He speaks with a tug at your heartstrings,
    saying,"Child, come, come unto Me."
"I'll give you peace and I'll give you rest,
    I'll set you totally free."
If you listen the Father is speaking,
through all His creation He'll speak.
His beauty surrounds you,
    it's there all around you,
and softly He'll speak as you seek.
