God Sees the Trials

GOD SEES THE TRIALS God sits upon His royal throne and sees all of our trials, And He knows of the load we bear o’er life’s long, rugged miles. He’s never taken by surprise by any trial we bear, For He has screened it long before He ever sends it there. He looks it over carefully to see if it will be A trial to draw us closer still and more His will to see. He checks it out to test its weight and makes sure it is right; He sees beyond its sorrow’s days and all its darkest night. And most of all He scrutinizes the veil that it would drape Upon our lives so He is sure there will be an escape. And if there is the slightest flaw upon which He will gaze, He’ll cast it out and not allow it to come to our way. And so when it becomes our lot to bear a trial He sent, Be sure that ere He sends it down, it through this testing went. God puts a trial through lots of tests of great detail up there Before He sends it on our way for just a while to bear. And when the trial comes our way, we need not fret or fuss And think that God just didn’t know this trial was sent to us. For He has purpose in it all, now we must count it joy And try to draw close to the Lord and all His grace employ. And most of all the lesson learn why this trial to us came: It was to help us purify our lives for His dear name.
