GOD SAYS WE'RE ROYALTY
we need to know who we are
and how we came to be
we need to know that as children of God
we are royalty
God says we're royalty
we just need to comprehend
It's not about race nor culture
It's simply faith in Him
we're all descendants of the Most High
God's offspring
as our relationship with Him
comprises everything
God says we're royalty

the enemy is on the stroll
working everyday
deterring our youth
from following Yahweh
too much Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram
and Skype
too caught up in their cell phones
and every technological hype
but God looks at hearts
what's inside
He's not concerned with hair tints, tattoos
nor expose backsides
God says we're royalty
we just need to comprehend
It's not about race nor culture
It's simply faith in Him
God will use anyone
to accomplish His goals
even the most unlikely
He'll infuse with god-like control
a young David, God did choose
by many he was expected to lose
but David knew who he was
and from where he came to be
he was triumphant for as a child of God
assured the victory
David became a king
for his faith and behavior
His descendants
the line of Jesus Our Savior
God says we're royalty
we just need to comprehend.

with power, majesty and might
for He blessed us
with His grace, mercy and insight
