God Nevers Leaves Me
God never leaves me, He's
Rooted in me like the trees
He lets me live, he just lets me be
I feel him here. In Heaven I'll see
Even more wonderous His Enterity
His enteral love's in all countries
From parents we learn about bees
And birds, and where we come from
In God, through Jesus I am just one
Of God's creatures. This I've known
Since a child. He doesn't sit on throne
He's all around, in light and in sound
Everywhere it is found He's profound
God never leaves me when I'm asleep
I say my prayers at night - Not a peep
Then, but when I pray during the day
I can feel a response in a tingling way
I have pictures and statues of Jesus
And a cross I don't wear. God's in us
He'll never leave me, this I know.
Not now, not ever. From this Earth
Body I will go into His sight. It's so
Ashes to ashes, to death from birth
