God Made This Day

Clear sky reveals its glory with the morning sun
Mountains majestically range from the distance
All flowers bloom as butterflies hover around
Wafting on air is their most delightful fragrance.

Paths of trimmed grasses kissed by pearls of dew
Trodden frantically by fellows with warm hello
With iridescent smiles shared to each and everyone
Let’s not skip this day without greeting someone.

God made this day,
Oh, what a lovely day!
Let’s all go for a walk or play
No more fear, no more worry
Everyone shout, “Hooray!”


Feel the gentle breeze with new therapeutic scent
Colors are now everywhere after an overnight rain
See those green robust trees with a branch laden
With those birds singing, “What a lovely day it isI”


Listen to the those children happily singing..
We are all blessed, what a lovely day it is.

                             in it.

Len Gasun February 27, 2022 at 8:48 PM This is also created for Children’s Choral Voices, both as song or choral recitation. I’m still going to edit this and try to put a melody if I’m free from school work so I can use in school or in our own local UMC church when I go back home someday.
