God Knows Why (July 25, 2004)

Some days can never be forgotten

The day we first met
None the less; the day we finally said good-bye

Your memories still haunt all of my thoughts
Daily breaking me down
Reminding me of my weaknesses, of my insecurities
So much love put into you and hatred is received in return
You will always be in my life
As the voices of my children hopelessly fight for your love and attention

If only I could forget the day we met and only remember our last good-byes
I wish it was easy to forget
I wish I wouldn’t cry
You are still in my heart
And only God knows why
