God, Knows What's Best For Me

God, Knows What's Best For Me By: Tom Wright 1998 Lord, lo these many days I've prayed, from heaven that you'd see fit to send. Relief, in that summers heat be stayed, you sent dark clouds, a cooling wind. The earth cries out your name in vain, for her parched tongue is bad athirst. I thank you Lord, for soothing rain, a lightning's bolt and thunder's burst. God, forbid, that I in haste might fail, in giving praise for all you send my way. In times of need your name I'll not assail, you alone know what's best for me today.
