God Is On a Mission
GOD IS ON A MISSION
God is on a mission in our world today
To help us be more like Him within His will and way.
God began that mission many years ago
With the plan He wanted to make that mission so.
He created mankind, told him what to do:
Be fruitful and to multiply, to fill the earth so new.
Satan didn’t like that and in his subtle way
He convinced that couple to follow him that day.
Though mankind was ruined now there in his sin,
God still kept that mission that He did begin.
He sent down a Saviour, His own begotten Son;
He would die for mankind, He would be the one
To redeem the person who would Him receive,
Become a brand new creature through him then believe.
God is on that mission still on earth today,
But He will not force us to follow in His way.
When we allow His Spirit to help His way to see,
We’ll accomplish God’s great mission whatever it may be.
God IS on a mission! Someday His great plan
Will be on earth forever in that Promised Land!
Satan will be defeated, and all his followers, too.
DON’T be in that crowd then, here’s all you need to do:
Repent and trust in Jesus to save you from your sin
And follow in God’s mission as a new life you begin!
